At present, the Italian silk supply chain does not have advanced technological tools and equipment because, with the decommissioning of the spinning mills in the 1960s and the total importation of semi-finished silk thread from China, the demand for technological updating in the sector has disappeared.
The product and process innovations offered by Tecnoseta respond to the need of new silkworm farmers to have:
- a LINE OF MACHINERY innovative and high-performance even on small quantities, for the transformation of cocoons into silk thread;
- TRAINING AND CONSULTANCY SERVICES for the management of the machinery and the control of the production steps of the silk thread, with specific focus on the maceration, reeling and skein rewinding phases.
